2. What we collect

Application data (personal)

When you apply, we collect the information you submit: name, email, phone, and your written answers. This is stored so we can review your application and contact you.

Aggregate visit statistics (not personal)

We run self-hosted analytics on this site. We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, or similar third-party analytics.

• A random session ID in your browser's session storage (cleared when you close the tab)
• Page path, event type (e.g. page view, button click), scroll depth
• Referrer hostname only (not the full URL)
• Country (from Vercel edge headers — we do not store IP addresses)
• Device type derived from user-agent (mobile or desktop — we do not store the raw user-agent string)

Analytics events are stored separately from application data and contain no name, email, or other identifying information.

3. Why we process data

• To review and respond to applications
• To improve the site based on aggregate patterns
• To comply with legal obligations where applicable

4. Retention

• Applications: kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction, unless a longer period is required for an ongoing engagement or legal obligation.
• Analytics events: kept for up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated.

5. Sharing

We use Vercel (hosting) and Neon Postgres (database) to operate the site. We do not sell your data. We share data only when necessary to provide the service or when required by law.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and object to processing where applicable.

To request deletion or a copy of your application data, email info@uniqueconsulting.nl from the address you used when applying.

7. Security

Application data is stored in a password-protected admin area. Analytics data is kept in a separate table with no personal identifiers.
